Two Marie Keating Foundation PhD Scholarships at Trinity College Dublin, under the supervision of Dr. Lorraine O’Driscoll are available in the School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin, in collaboration with Molecular Therapeutics for Cancer Ireland.
Description:
These projects are focussed on better methods of diagnosing breast cancer and better ways of assessing new drugs with potential as anti-cancer treatments for breast cancer.
Project #1: Developing blood tests for earlier diagnosis & optimal treatment selection for breast cancer patients
Project #2: Better ways of assessing anti-cancer drugs in the laboratory so as to increase their success for breast cancer patients
The Ph.D. positions are 3 years in duration, include payment of academic fees (EU) and a tax-exempt stipend of €16,000/annum.
