PhD fellowship within the International PhD Programme in "Structural biology of plants and microbes" at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IChB PAN) in Poznan, in cooperation with the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in Cologne

Description:

Our Ph.D. students are enrolled in a doctoral research programme in chemistry or biochemistry. The MPD fellows are formally enrolled in the Graduate School of IChB PAN and work according to its regulations. The entire programme is in English. Successful applicant will work for 2.5 years (until the closure of the MPD Programme) on a resarch project connected with crystallographic studies of hydrolytic enzymes of microbial and plant origin. The work is expected to conclude with the presentation and public defence of a PhD thesis, for obtaining a doctoral degree in chemistry or biochemistry from the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Scinces.
