Requirements:

• PhD in Economics, preferably with a specialization in Dynamic Macroeconomics,
• excellent knowledge of and ability to conduct independent research at a post-doctoral level with the objective to publish in international, peer-reviewed journals,
• excellent written and oral skills in English and basic skills in French and/or German are desirable.
• ability to work in a team

Abstract:

The applicant should have research interests in Dynamic Macroeconomics and policy issues that require an inter-temporal analytic perspective. These include, e.g., demographics and pensions, productive government activity, government budget deficits, macro-finance, or the stability of a monetary union. Candidates are required to have accomplished their PhD in Macroeconomics

Description:

Tasks within CREA’s Macroeconomic Research Group (Professor Irmen, Professor Sneessens, Professor Zou):

• research projects both independent and in collaboration,
• publications and contributions to conferences in the field of Dynamic Macroeconomics,
• assistance to PhD candidates,
• teaching activities up to two hours per week,
• tutoring students
