Postdoc in Computer science

Applications are welcome for a post-doctoral position in Computer Science at the School of Science and Technology, University of Camerino. The position is for two years with the possibility of a one-year extension. The work will focus on the study and development of strategies, frameworks and mechanisms for Validation & Verification support of large scale.

Description:

The successful candidate will have to investigate on strategies and mechanisms necessary to establish and to exercise governance in a wide heterogeneous inter-organization setting where integration is defined via large scale service choreographies. Special attention will be devoted to policies and rules related to V&V activities. Challenges are related to runtime integration of services, multi-ownership of cooperating services, multi- thread execution scenarios. The responsibilities of the post-doc will be: (i) To investigate governance for Ultra-Large Scale (ULS) choreographies and propose rules and policies enabling run-time V&V of such systems, iiTo define strategies for functional and non-functional V&V of services in ULS choreographies, iiiTo derive mechanisms supporting V&V at development time, ivTo derive a V&V run-time infrastructure. The work will be done in the setting of the European project CHOReOS - (FP7-ICT-257178) financed by the FP7-ICT-2009-5 call for the topic “ICT 2009.1.2 Internet of services, software and virtualisation”.

The position has a term of two years and may be renewed. The gross salary is approx. €16,000 per annum.
