Description:
A PhD studentship is available in the School of Life Sciences. This is an industrially funded award by 3M. The project will investigate techniques to crystallise protein particles suitable for inhalation and evaluate their performance. The student will have the opportunity to work in the well-equipped laboratories of the School of Pharmacy and at the industrial sponsor. Training in state of the art analytical techniques and crystal, powder and material characterisation will be provided
Funding covers tuition fees and a maintenance grant of £13,590. Due to the conditions attached to the funding, the eligibility criteria require the successful student to be classed as UK/"home" for the purpose of the payment of tuition fees.
