Candidates must be fully registered medical practitioners with MRCPsych or equivalent and eligible for entry to ST4 level training in August 2011.
The successful candidates will be expected to have a strong commitment to research and teaching and will be encouraged to register for a higher degree (MD/PhD).

Applications are invited for the above post in the Division of Psychiatry, School of Community Health Sciences. The role of the Lecturer will be to carry out teaching and research in psychiatry while undergoing a combined academic and clinical training leading towards a career in academic clinical psychiatry.
Salary will be within the range £30,992 - £53,663 per annum, depending on skills and experience. This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of four years or up to six months post CCT date, whichever is the shorter.
It is a condition of this post that satisfactory enhanced disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau.
The Postgraduate Dean confirms that this placement and/or programme has the required educational and Dean's approval.
