Postdoctoral Fellow in Cancer Research

Organization: Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center

Location: New York, NY, USA

Field: Cancer Research

Abstract:

A postdoctoral position is available for studies linking human retinal development to retinoblastoma tumorigenesis

Description:

Retinoblastomas derive from cells that have extreme sensitivity to RB mutations, as a consequence of signaling circuitry that is unique to the human retina (see Cell 137:1018). Current projects aim to define this circuitry and the cell-of-origin in which it operates, using human retina and humanized mouse models. Candidates should have a productive publication record, interest in developmental tumor biology, and cellular and molecular biology expertise. Please send CV and contact information for three references to David Cobrinik MD PhD, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, cobrinid@mskcc.org

Deadline: 11-04-2011
