Funded by the Cure Parkinson's Trust, a postdoctoral research fellow is required to elucidate the mechanism(s) of action of the peptide exendin-4 in preclinical models of Parkinson's disease (PD).
Description:
Funded by the Cure Parkinson's Trust, a postdoctoral research fellow is required to elucidate the mechanism(s) of action of the peptide exendin-4 in preclinical models of Parkinson's disease (PD). The successful candidate will have experience in HPLC, immunohistochemistry and tissue monoamine determination. Ideally the applicant will have experience in generating preclinical models of PD, in vivo microdialysis and basic animal behavioural paradigms. A PhD or near completion of a PhD in a relevant subject would be a distinct advantage.
The salary will be £30,226 inclusive of London Allowance.
