University College Cork, in association with safefood*, has vacancies for two research interns/fellows

Description:

The Internship Programme will be based on the assignment of tasks on Food Safety and Nutrition topics selected by safefood and will involve designated staff members at UCC. The Internship Programme will also include elements of personal and career development.

Typically, interns will have a postgraduate qualification in one or more of the following disciplines: Food microbiology/chemistry/toxicology, food technology, nutrition/dietetics, environmental health, health promotion/education, epidemiology disease surveillance, public health, veterinary public health, social marketing, social/behavioural sciences and communications.

The duration of the Internships will be a minimum of two years but not more than three years. Salary will be commensuarate with qualifications at MSc or PhD level.
