Abstract:

Development of a multi-constellation (Galileo and GPS) Safety-of-Life module and integration of integrity algorithms.

Description:

- First of all, the researcher will be in charge of developing a multi-constellation (Galileo and GPS) Safety-of-Life module, which will be able to process the data output from a GNSS receiver and extract the integrity information provided by the systems: Galileo broadcasted integrity and EGNOS integrity
information to GPS.

- The combination of Galileo system provided integrity, GPS/EGNOS integrity and RAIM techniques open a wide range of possibilities to implement robust algorithms which enable a safe navigation. Therefore, the researcher will be in charge of exploring the best way to adapt the integrity techniques to the special conditions of an aviation receiver.
Different algorithms will be implemented and intensively
tested in the Multiconstellation SoL Module
