Description:
Work Area: Optical fiber sensors
Project overview: The project aims the application of optical fiber sensors embedded in wood and to study diferent types of adhesive for the optical fibre application in the wood technology.
Objectives: Project and implementation of sensing heads;
Test and Characterization of sensing heads;
Study of implementation methods of optical fiber sensors in the manufacturing process;
Study and implementation of interrogation systems;
Reports writing.
Monthly reference value: 980,00 €.The grant holder can receive additional payments by participating in complementary contracts or projects that contribute to the work plan (Clauses 12 and 13 of INESC Porto Grants Regulation and Annex II), in accordance with paragraph 4 of article 5 of Research Grant Holder Statute, approved by Law nº 40/2004, dated 18 August
