Abstract:
The lecturer is expected to teach two first-year level SSC 131 Introduction to Anthropology courses (no course development is needed; the course already exists). The teaching load will be 8 hours (i.e. 0,48 fte) per week plus preparation time. The teaching period starts on August 1, 2011, and lasts until December 31, 2011. There is a possibility to renew the contract based on good performance and demand.
Description:
Roosevelt Academy initially offers a semester contract (part-time, 0,48 fte) on the level of Teacher/Lecturer. The salary will range between € 2,379,- and € 4,374,- gross per month based on a fulltime appointment (scale 10/11 Collective Employment Agreement of the Dutch Universities). Travel costs within the Netherlands will be partly reimbursed. Furthermore, Roosevelt Academy offers excellent secondary benefits according to the Dutch Universities Conditions of Employment, such as a year-end bonus, holiday allowance of 8%, a pension scheme and flexible employment conditions.
