EAM/CMMS Specialist

Requirements:

Qualification required

University degree in computer science, or equivalent.

Experience and competencies

* Expert knowledge of one of the major EAM/CMMS systems on the market (i.e. Maximo, SAP-PM).

Practical experience in using and configuring Infor EAM is a clear advantage.

* At least 2 years' experience in providing support, training and/or consulting for an EAM/CMMS system and proven skills in assisting people optimizing their maintenance processes.

* Experience in maintenance management including general maintenance concepts such as Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).

Strong assets:

* Familiarity with reporting tools such as Business Objects, Cristal reports or Cognos.

* Practical knowledge of relational databases, e.g. Oracle, and SQL.

* Good communication skills in an international environment and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

* Active listening, customer orientation and initiative.

* Dynamic and energetic attitude.

* Team spirit.

* Good knowledge of English or French; basic knowledge of the other language or an undertaking to acquire it rapidly.

As a member of the Engineering Processes Support Section (EPS), you will join the team of internal experts providing CERN with support, training and consulting for our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system, also known as Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Functions

Following a period of practical training and familiarization, you will:

* Become a key member in the support, training and internal consulting activities for Infor EAM and all its related applications at CERN;

* Design, analyze and plan the streamline maintenance management processes across the organization by configuring the various tools according to expressed needs and best practices;

* Coordinate and participate in challenging projects with the goal of specifying, customizing and deploying new system functionality, new application modules and enhanced reporting tools;

* Prepare technical documentation, presentations and tutorials to be presented at internal seminars or on the CERN intranet.

* Propose and take an active role in the common and continuous effort of improving both the services and tools provided
