The candidates must be competent to direct research (or creative professional work) in their speciality and to organise graduate studies (above all doctoral studies). They must be qualified to teach the subjects of the speciality on all levels of higher education. A competent candidate will have conducted internationally recognised research in his/her speciality equivalent to at least three doctoral theses. Teaching experience in an establishment of higher education equivalent in scope and level to at least two years work in a Senior Lecturer's position.
Abstract:
Professor shall be responsible for organising the teaching of their subjects (primarily Contract Law, Banking Law, International Trade Law, Consumer Protection, European Private Law And Civil Procedure) and directing the respective research. The principal task of Professors is the organisation of post-graduate studies (especially PhD study). Primary area of responsibility is teaching speciality subjects in Master's and PhD programmes and supervising Master's and PhD theses.
