Abstract:

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research scientist to work under the supervision of Professor Veronique Gouverneur for an initial period of 12 months on a project funded through BioChemLig Marie Curie Initial Training Network, researching on ligation strategies for the synthesis of radiotracers. This is part of an initiative with eight partners in the consortium.

Description:

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work with Professor V. Gouverneur on ligation strategies for the synthesis of radiotracers. This project is funded by the European Community and the researcher will be an EU ITN7 Fellow. The post will be to work on the development of novel transition metal chemistry for 18F-radiolabelling to support Positron emission tomography. The post is for one year in the first instance with the possibility of a second year. The start date can be flexible for the right candidate. The facility is located in the Chemistry Research Laboratory at Oxford University, Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA (see http:/www.chem.ox.ac.uk/crl).
