You will be part of Corporate Research in Västerås. We are one of ABB’s global Research Centers. With emphasis on both Automation and Power Technology, we work with long-term research and development.

Description:

Are you a pioneer who would like to work at the absolute forefront of technology? We are currently 17 senior Researchers in the Advanced Modeling & Control group, a part of Corporate Research. In projects of various types, from long-term development projects to shorter assignments, we contribute to the continuing competitiveness of ABB. We work towards most business units within ABB, with Process Automation as our primary partner. As Researcher, you will work with Research and Development projects. Your competence and knowledge will be applied in many different areas and you will independently solve problems by utilizing your theoretical skills as well as your acquired experience. In this position, you will also work to enhance our business related contacts and relationships as well as define and participate in new projects. All to generate future value for ABB. As part of Corporate Research in general, and Advanced Modeling & Control in particular, you will find unique development opportunities. Apart from working with interesting and challenging projects within various application areas, you will have the privilege to collaborate with experts specialized in different technical areas, both within and outside ABB.
